Compliance

Sending practices

This page describes how Letterry sends email as a business. It is written for transparency with recipients, partners, and mailbox providers.

Types of mail we send

Transactional: license delivery, security alerts, password and account operations, support replies. Marketing / product updates: newsletters and announcements about Letterry, sent only to people who opted in or have an existing customer relationship where such mail is appropriate.

How people get on our lists

Prospects opt in via our website contact forms, waitlists, or explicit marketing consent. Customers may receive product and service communications related to their relationship with us. We do not buy or rent email lists for cold spam.

Unsubscribe and preference

Every marketing message includes an unsubscribe mechanism. We honor unsubscribe requests promptly and keep transactional mail separate so security and account mail still arrives when required.

Bounces and complaints

Hard bounces and spam complaints result in suppression. Soft failures are retried with backoff and do not by themselves create a permanent suppression. We monitor complaint rates and pause campaigns if thresholds are unhealthy.

Authentication

Domains we send from publish SPF, DKIM, and DMARC. We align From domains with our brand identity and maintain DNS under our control.

Infrastructure

Outbound may use our own MTA (KumoMTA) and, where configured, Amazon SES for specific product and marketing streams that benefit from SES reputation and reach. Both paths share the same list hygiene and suppression rules.

Report abuse or unwanted mail from Letterry domains to abuse@letterry.com. Include headers when possible.
